The first 9 pictures below are of the recent Forest Fire in the Country Lakes area. These photos are from multiple sources. These photos are taken from an area very close to Presidential Lakes. What the residents of Presidential Lakes need to remember is THIS COULD HAPPEN IN OUR COMMUNITY!! Hopefully it never will and keep in mind it is up to you to prevent from happening. If the winds on that day would have been from the northeast rather than the northwest the outcome could have been extremely different with Presidential Lakes in the fires eyes. Remember open burning is not only illegal but could be catastrophic. Because of a campfire the fire burned 487 acres and with the high wind conditions and had the potential of structural lost.

Do not allow this to happen in PL!! It is up to each and every resident!!!!
